This story is about art, study, meetings, the desire to step out.
My training began in the artistic field: I am an expert in the conservation of archaeological material, and it is true, it is a world apparently far from what I deal with today, yet there is a common thread…
Thanks to this, collaborations were born, linked to art forms of different nature. As an expert archaeologist, I collaborated with the Superintendency of Ravenna, following archaeological excavations in which I intervened to survey and conserve. I also worked as a restorer at the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza.
After that, I started to gain experience in the field of high fashion, dealing with important brands such as Gattinoni, Versace and Cavalli and I even found myself painting on the clothes that would be on the catwalk!
How unpredictable art is, how fascinating, the backbone of so many events that have happened in my life!
So, between one catwalk and another, I entered the event planning field. The first small opportunities for experience arrived and I couldn’t help but fall madly in love with this profession. I organised social events such as art exhibitions, culinary events and, of course, fashion events.
I have to be honest: what came after that was born partly for fun, partly out of curiosity. I obtained certificates to be able to set up spaces and shop windows and I started shops related to the world of weddings…
Then, one day, a colleague asked me for help in setting up and managing a room for a wedding reception… and the doors of Wedding Planning opened wide.
I have met hundreds of lovers (between one daughter and another, because in the meantime I became a mother), I organised weddings around Italy and beyond. Today, with more than 20 years of experience, I can help you make your wedding day or any other special occasion in your life magical.
Today, I am an event organiser, Wedding Planner and expert in etiquette, bearing and image consulting, to best assist brides on their journey to the “I do”.
The icing on the cake? The officiality!
In 2018, the brand J Wedding Events by Jenny Iacoucci was born, followed by my beloved boutique Paradisea.
If I look at the “old me” of many years ago, who had just completed her artistic training, I would never have thought that I would arrive here, in a world that I love and that seems tailor-made for me. Just like I tailor every wedding I have the pleasure of organizing for the bride and groom.
And yet… art, together with love, knows the way.
